A 40-year-old man was found in critical condition near a tram stop on Tuesday evening following a stab wound.

At the end of line 1 of the Nice tramway towards the north of the city, a man was found lying and stabbed on Tuesday evening, according to information from the Figaro. He was in a relay car park, near the Henri-Sappia terminus stop.

The firefighters took care of him around 6:30 p.m. The 40-year-old man was transported medically and in absolute urgency to the Pasteur hospital in Nice.
According to the latest information from the police, the man received a single stab wound. Was he stabbed by others? An investigation has been opened to determine this. At the scene, no individual was arrested after the victim was taken care of. A suicide attempt is also not ruled out at this stage.
