Nicola Pagett died of a brain tumor at the age of 75. This is reported by the British "The Guardian". The British actress died on March 3, 2021. Pagett was best known for her appearances in British series.

Pagett was born in Cairo in 1945 and grew up in Japan, among other places. Her father worked for a large oil company. From 1962 she studied acting in London for two years. Her breakthrough came with the role of the rebellious Elizabeth Bellamy in "Das Haus am Eaton Place" (original title "Upstairs, Downstairs", 1971-1975). In the series, which was first broadcast in Germany in 1975 on ZDF, she worked for two seasons. Pagett later landed the lead role in the BBC miniseries "Anna Karenina" (1977). She appeared on the big screen in "Queen for a Thousand Days" (1969), "Das Sonderkommando" (1975) and "Eine Sachliche Romance" (1995), among others. According to The Guardian, the actress lived in London until her death. She leaves behind her daughter Eve and her sister Angela.
