It is to Game Awards 2021 that we discovered Nightingalea first-person action and survival game in a universe shared between heroic fantasy and Victorian aesthetics. It will be the first title ofInflection GamesAaryn Flynn’s new studio (dragon age) recently acquired by Tencent.
He is talked about again on the occasion of a file in the June 2022 issue of Gaming PC UKof which Inflection Games extracted some information and especially captures to teach us more about the project. You can find below several key points of the game highlighted in the article.
- A closed beta is planned for this summer, with an open beta at a later date.
- Inflection will feed the game regularly with seasonal content.
- Nightingale will provide endless adventures as Realmwalkers survive and explore dangerous and mysterious worlds.
- Realmwalkers will explore worlds by discovering portals. By traveling through portals fulfilling certain conditions, players will be able to unlock new and varied realms.
- Adventure solo or with others: Realmwalkers can experience Nightingale playing solo or cooperating with friends.
- Realmwalkers will have to manage their level of hope as they explore the realms. The hope meter, and how players manage it through their playstyle by doing positive or negative actions, will affect their chances of survival.
- The community will play an active role in the evolution of Nightingale. Inflexion Games wants to empower players and their creativity.
- Kingdom walkers will have to survive against mythological enemies, create and build their own settlements, and explore kingdoms to solve mysteries.
- Realmwalkers will need to team up to survive and collaborate with NPCs on quests to earn resources, craft powerful gear, and explore fascinating worlds. Nightingale will feature historical figures in its NPCs, such as Marie Curie.
- Nightingale will be released in early access for PC at the end of 2022.
