Nikkei: -0.26% to 38,695, 3rd consecutive session of decline

(CercleFinance.com) – The Nikkei (-0.26%) closes at 38,695: this is the 3rd consecutive session of decline, the 5th in 6 sessions.
The index dropped up to -0.88% during the session, towards 38,452… or -2.00 Points compared to the historical record of 40,472 Points (this Thursday, March 7).
The Nikkei confirms the exit from the bottom of its short-term ascending channel that began on February 7 from a floor of 36,000 Points.
The Nikkei’s straight-line gain of +12% could quickly be corrected by -50%: this will be the case around 38,200 (the index came close to the target within 0.6% this morning).
It would then remain to fill the ‘gaps’ of February 14 (37,825Pts) then February 8 (36,195), before joining the small support level of 35,750Pts of January 25 and 31 (i.e. +2,300Pts compared to January 1)
