2024 could have been a particularly great year for Nintendo fans, as several reports had predicted the Switch 2’s release this year.
But it is now becoming increasingly clear that the Nintendo Switch 2 will not be released until 2025.
The reasons for the release postponement are clear according to a paid article in the Japanese business newspaper Nikkei. Nintendo decided to take this step in order to avoid delivery bottlenecks at the start and to be able to offer enough games, reports the games magazine VGC with reference to the Nikkei report.
