West France launches the alert : The supply chain of the global market for light garlands and decorations has been disrupted by the health crisis. Between confinements that impact the manufacture of goods, but also the openings and closings of ports, there is the explosion in container prices, and the drop in the number of these. Between 2020 and 2021, the cost of shipping a container between China and Europe quintupled. Moreover, their production had been slowed down during confinements. Today, it is impossible to quickly produce more containers due to the shortage of raw materials constituting them. What is the relationship between a huge metal box and your Christmas tree?
