The Tyrolean police are faced with a mystery. A local (74) came home from a hike in Jenbach (Schwaz district) with a bloodied face and injuries to his knee and hand. He told his family that he had no idea how it could have happened. He only remembered a truck driver’s door that opened at the roundabout next to the Inntalautobahn exit. The executive is now looking for witnesses.
According to the police, the 74-year-old returned from a hike in the area of the toboggan hut in Jenbach/St. Margarethen home with a bloodied face. “The man stated to the relatives that he had no memory from the Jenbach roundabout at the exit of the A12 and that the driver’s door of a truck had opened.” The relatives were able to identify damage and signs of abrasion on the man’s jacket on accidentThe Tyrolean was taken to the hospital in Schwaz by his daughter-in-law, where he was admitted as an inpatient. “Injuries to the face, the left knee and the back of the right hand were found.” However, initial examinations in the clinic did not reveal any evidence of an accident involving a vehicle. Due to the gaps in memory, it has not yet been possible to determine whether there is actually a connection with an unknown truck or whether the 74-year-old was injured by a fall or in some other way.
