(CercleFinance.com) – Nokia and MEXT, the Technology Center of Turkey’s Metallurgical Industries Employers’ Association, announced today that they are joining forces to advance the digital transformation of Turkey’s industrial sector and enable the ecosystem local to work jointly on 5G private wireless innovation.
Nokia will deploy its 5G private wireless Digital Automation Cloud (DAC) solution at the MEXT Technology Center, connecting more than 10 exposed manufacturing use cases and adding more.
The Technology Center includes an ecosystem of more than 50 globally recognized technology providers, universities and institutions.
“It is of utmost importance to support a local 5G vertical ecosystem and to be the forerunner of Turkish industry to leverage 5G for increased competitiveness,” says Ozgur Erzincan, Head of Turkey at Nokia.
“With this deployment, Turkish industry will experience a state-of-the-art 5G solution, which comes with Nokia’s expertise for hundreds of private wireless deployments worldwide,” adds Efe Erdem, Director executive of the MEXT Technology Center.
