Since the outbreak of the corona pandemic, almost 400 pregnant women have received inpatient treatment from Covid wards in Vienna. One of these cases was also fatal: a patient in her early 30s died in the Ottakring Clinic. “No one who really needed treatment was vaccinated,” said Barbara Maier, head of the maternity ward in Ottakring.
