Nuclear-Iran rejects ‘unconstructive’ E3 statement

DUBAI, Sept 10 (Reuters) – Iranian authorities rejected on Saturday an “unconstructive” statement by France, Britain and Germany (E3) on negotiations for the 2015 nuclear deal.

In this joint statement issued on Saturday, the three countries believe that the latest demands made by Iran to relaunch the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) “raise serious doubts as to Thran’s intentions and his determination to achieve a favorable result”. .

An “unconstructive” initiative, declared the spokesman for the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanaani, whose comments were reported by Iranian state media.

E3 countries should “play a more active role in providing solutions that resolve the few disagreements that remain”, he said. (French version Sophie Louet)
