As the holiday season approaches, Amazon has decided to highlight the famous Nvidia Shield TV. The powerful multimedia box with Android TV, available in two versions to choose from, is the subject of a flash sale on the site of the American e-commerce giant.
For the home stretch of Christmas shopping, Amazon is running a flash sale on both models of the Nvidia Shield TV. During a promotional offer of indefinite duration, the Classic and Pro versions of the multimedia box with Android TV are respectively sold at the price of €124.99 and at the price of 184 euros. For information, both products sold and shipped by Amazon are eligible for free shipping and have a two-year warranty from the manufacturer.
Proposed in its 2019 version, the classic version of the Nvidia Shield TV is a multimedia gateway in the form of a cylindrical tube composed of several ports (HDMI, LAN, microSD) visible on each side of the device. It is a box running under the Android TV system which has a working memory of 2 GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 8 GB expandable via a microSD port.
For its part, the Pro model of the Nvidia Shield TV comes in the form of a multimedia box which allows you to watch videos in 4K HDR. The device running the Android TV system has 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage space, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus standards, as well as the Tegra X1+ processor. On the connection side, a LAN port (RJ-45), an HDMI output and two USB 3.0 ports are included. Finally, Nvidia’s Shield TV Pro is compatible with Chromecast technology and the Google voice assistant.
