Offspring in the circus: – Lady mouse Augustine gave birth to four cubs

Unexpected offspring cause changes to the program at Circus Dimitri – a Carinthian circus star is now on maternity leave.

Augustine Mausini is the star of the popular Circus Dimitri. But for the time being there are no more appearances for the darling of the audience, because the talented mouse became a mother of four on Tuesday evening. “In a nice nest made of cotton wool and hay, our beloved circus mouse Augustine Mausini gave birth to four sweet babies tonight,” the circus proudly announced. Just two weeks ago, people thought Augustine would have to go into well-deserved retirement because she “was getting fatter and fatter and had to make a lot of effort to balance over the rope,” says the circus team. No one suspected that there was a romance with a mouse behind it. In about three weeks, the talented mouse should return from her “baby break”. Until then, she suckles her young.
