In the current episode of their podcast, Oliver and Amira Pocher talk about their marriage problems. It is currently “difficult”.
After media reports about a marriage crisis, comedian Oliver Pocher (45) and his wife Amira (30) comment on the rumors in their joint podcast. In the current episode, they confirm that it is currently “difficult” for them.
“The Seven Year Itch, Or Something”
The couple speaks in his podcast “The Pochers!” frequently via other celebrities and influencers. But now they wanted to sweep “on their own doorstep”. They couldn’t and didn’t want to hide their problems. “We don’t shy away from difficult issues either,” emphasizes Oliver Pocher. “It’s just difficult at the moment,” adds his wife. “The people around us also know that and one of them chatted away, but that’s the way it is.” In conversation with her husband, the presenter continues: “The darned seventh year, or something.” When asked by Oliver Pocher where her wedding ring is, she replies: “I’m currently doing so much sport, it’s in the gym.” But she hasn’t worn any jewelry for weeks.
Since the first reports, they have been overwhelmed with calls. “My cell phone has been ringing since 7 a.m., that’s a bit exhausting,” says Amira Pocher. But you can understand that people are interested. You have to expect that in a public relationship. However, they themselves do not yet know how to proceed. “When we know more details, we will tell you.” You would first have to “clarify a few things” for yourself and “let everything continue to run smoothly, just for the children”.
“Relationship is not always just a good mood”
However, the Pochers keep to themselves which problems exactly burden the couple. “What has nothing to do with it is the patchwork situation,” emphasizes the comedian. From his first marriage to Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (40), he has three children who live in Florida. His snoring, Amira’s penchant for lending money or her jobs are not the reasons either. There is now a lot of speculation and topics from their old podcast episodes are taken up. “The day has 24 hours and there are completely different things that happen or don’t happen in everyday life,” explains Amira Pocher. The mood was “not just since yesterday” tense. “Relationship is not always just a good mood,” says Oliver Pocher. Then he jokes: As long as they followed each other on Instagram, everything was still intact.
His wife is combative: “We can do it. We will always find a way somehow and hopefully the podcast will always exist anyway. We are still a team. The Pochers are the Pochers.” They are grown ups and deal with it very grown ups. Addressing her husband, she affirms: “Believe it or not, I can handle it very well.”
They have two little sons
The two have been a couple for seven years. They met in 2016 on “Tinder” and in autumn 2019 they said yes in the Maldives. Her sons were born in 2019 and 2020. Oliver Pocher was previously married to Alessandra Meyer-Wölden from 2010 to 2014, with whom he has three children.
