Oliver Pocher to Amira: His “probably last” Instagram birthday greeting to her

Oliver Pocher sends his wife Amira Pocher a “probably last” public – and very emotional – birthday greeting.

Oliver Pocher (45) and his wife Amira Pocher announced their separation at the end of August. Since then, the comedian has been fighting openly for the mother of his two youngest sons. He published one in the early hours of the morning for her 31st birthday this Thursday (September 28th). Congratulations post on Instagramwhich will bring tears to the eyes of many followers.

“Dear Amira, I’ve been wishing you a happy birthday here, on the superficial Instagram (and, for everyone, very old-school Facebook) for the last few years, and I’ll do the same this year, probably for the last time. You shouldn’t change traditions,” begins he shared his surprisingly emotional message.

“Now I’m sitting alone at home without you. What a year you’ve had. Unfortunately, last year I didn’t manage to give you what you hoped for from me. At some point the point has come where you “You no longer felt love for me. Where the happiness of the family, health and a fulfilling job were no longer enough to make you happy. I failed as a spouse,” he sums up the current situation ruefully.

Oliver Pocher: “I had the feeling we were strongest as a team”

In view of the many achievements mentioned, which they achieved more or less together, he emphasizes the strong teamwork in the Pocher house until the separation: “I had the feeling that we were strongest as a team, but feelings are just not reality ( and no Helene Fischer song),” he writes.

“I would have liked to have remained your partner at your side for a long time, but accepting that is the most difficult part of the end of this relationship for me. I have understood it painfully and will (have to) accept it,” adds the Hanover-born entertainer.

In addition to a more classic “I wish you all the best and that you will find what you are looking for in the new year and phase of your life”, he also brings up a possible successor: “Maybe someone else will do it better and make you happier. It would be “I want to wish you because I got to know (and love) you as a cheerful, happy person. Our two wonderful boys will remind us of what we once loved about each other. Happy Birthday,” said Pocher.

Bittersweet Tinder comment

But Pocher wouldn’t be Pocher if he didn’t add a bittersweet joke here too and so he ends his birthday greeting with a reference to how they both met: “PS: When is the right time to reactivate your Tinder profile, even though someone likes it You won’t give it a second time…!?”

Oliver Pocher posted ten touching souvenir photos alongside the loving lines: two from the wedding, two with their children, a baby bump photo, one from their Wendler parody times, one from behind the “Let’s Dance” scenes, vacation photos and a shared backstage photo. Photo with musician Xavier Naidoo (51) – this probably includes his final “PSS: Xavier Naidoo is now welcome to go on tour again! That’s enough of the time off…”

“I’m going to cry now, ciao” – followers moved to tears

The followers say they are deeply touched by the news. You can read comments like these: “Many people wouldn’t have expected you to have so much love and open words, we looked right into your heart for the first time.” Or: “Great words and very brave to show yourself so vulnerable. I hope Amira knows what she had in you.” Or: “Wow, I’ve rarely heard such beautiful words from you. And you notice how honest they are and how painful they hurt… it’s really such a shame. And your PS. Just too sweet.” Or: “Am I the only one who has the feeling that Amira is/was really the love of his life, with whom he arrived and with whom he seriously wanted to grow old and shriveled up?! That really breaks your heart.”

Or simply: “I’m going to cry now, ciao,” to which many respond “I’m coming with you,” etc.

“Bauer sucht Frau” star Anna Heiser has also already read the post and writes: “You love her…” “Ex-Bachelor” Andrej Mangold (36) comments: “Very genuine and lovingly written. I’m honest: I would have never expected from you in this form and especially publicly, all the stronger. I hope the pain goes away and you will soon see why it should happen like this. All the best to you and see you soon.”

Separation after seven years and two sons together

After seven years of marriage and two children together, the Pochers separated. The first rumors emerged in June. They confirmed the end of the marriage in a podcast episode at the end of August. “It’s time to educate people. […] We thought this was probably the best way to say it. We’re separated. That’s it,” they told their fans at the time.

Since then, the comedian has never missed a public opportunity to remember the beautiful and loving times. Amira Pocher doesn’t leave it indifferent either, there are always tears when we record podcasts together.
