Are Oliva Wilde and Harry Styles a couple? These celebrity ladies prove that love can work despite the age difference.
The rumor mill is seething in Hollywood. After singer Harry Styles (26, "Watermelon Sugar") and actress Olivia Wilde (36, "The Richard Jewell Case") were photographed holding hands at his manager's wedding, numerous fans ask themselves: Are the former One Direction member and the ten year older director a couple? These celebrity ladies prove that such an age difference does not have to be an obstacle to love.
Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz
Heidi Klum (47) and Tom Kaulitz (31) have long since proven that their love is not just a flirtation or even a PR gag. When the first paparazzi photos of the lovers appeared in March 2018, many believed it was a joke. After all, there is a 16 year age difference between them. But the model and the musician repeatedly presented themselves in love at events and on social media. The engagement finally followed in December 2018. At the latest after the romantic wedding celebration on Capri in summer 2019, it was clear to the critics: They both mean business. Since then, the couple has lived with Heidi Klum's children in Los Angeles, currently even in Berlin. Daughter Leni (18) comes from the relationship with Flavio Briatore (70), Henry (15), Johan (14) and Lou (11) are children from Klum's marriage to singer Seal (57).
Even before her relationship with Tom Kaulitz, Heidi Klum loved a younger man. Her relationship with the 13-year-old art dealer Vito Schnabel (34) lasted for three years. He was previously said to have a love affair with Demi Moore (58). They were even 24 years apart.
Vivienne Westwood and Andreas Kronthaler
It is well known that designer Vivienne Westwood (79) does not think much of conventions. This is also proven by her marriage to Andreas Kronthaler (54), who was previously her student. The couple, who have been happily married since 1992, have been separated for a full 25 years. The designer and the then fashion student had met three years earlier. Kronthaler was 22 at the time. Westwood had taught at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, where Kronthaler had just started his studies. She recognized his talent and later even appointed him personal assistant. The working relationship turned into a love affair within a few months that has lasted to this day. Kronthaler told the "Süddeutsche Zeitung" in 2018: "She is my soul mate."

Eva Mendes (46) and Ryan Gosling (40) are also separated by an age difference. Mendes is six years older than the "La La Land" actor. However, this doesn't seem to be a problem in their relationship either. The couple met and fell in love in 2011 while filming "The Place Beyond The Pines". However, both keep the relationship largely out of the public eye. The couple have two daughters who were born in 2014 and 2016. In 2019 Mendes revealed to the women's magazine "Womens' Health" that Gosling was the first to trigger her desire to have children: "I never wanted to have babies until I fell in love with Ryan".
Iris Berben and Heiko Kiesow
The fact that Iris Berben (70) and her partner Heiko Kiesow (60) are ten years apart is apparently no problem for the German actress. The two have been happy together for over 13 years. In 2007, Berben met the stuntman while filming "Afrika, mon amour". But despite the many years together, the actress refuses the marriage for herself. This is not due to Kiesow or previous relationships, but much more to the attitude of the 70-year-olds: "There are people for whom this framework is important, for whom this order is important," she explained in an interview with "t-online " in the past year. "Everyone has to decide for themselves."

Singer Shakira (43) is exactly ten years older to the day than her partner, soccer star Gerard Piqué (33). In 2010 the World Cup song "Waka Waka" not only brought her a mega hit, but also a great love. While filming the accompanying music video, she met the Spanish soccer player. Probably a real success year for him too: a short time later, Piqué and his team became world champions. The couple have two children together. Their first son was born in 2013, the second in 2015.

Simone Thomalla's (55) relationship with handball player Silvio Heinevetter (36) also shows that love can last for a long time, even with an age difference of 19 years. The actress and the athlete have been in a relationship since 2009. The couple got to know each other at the award ceremony of the Golden Hen, as Heinevetter revealed in an interview in 2019 in MDR. The age difference has never played a role for either of them. In an interview with Ina Müller (55) on the show "Inas Nacht", Thomalla said that age is only a number for her and that she sees many young people as much more saddled than older ones.
