(sda) Feuz is the fourth Swiss downhill Olympic champion. Before him, Bernhard Russi (1972), Pirmin Zurbriggen (1988) and Didier Défago (20210) had won the gold medal in the supreme alpine discipline. Four days before his 35th birthday as a downhill skier, Feuz has won everything that counts: He is four-times World Cup winner, won World Championships gold in St. Moritz in 2017 and triumphed three times each in the great classics in Wengen and Kitzbühel. And the Emmentaler completed his Olympic medal set after silver in the Super-G and bronze in the downhill from Pyeongchang 2018.
