Rather absurd end of the run for this murderer. He was not arrested during a confidential operation, nor after several years of investigation, but quite simply because he was not wearing a mask.
The facts took place in Warsaw (Poland) on January 4. The man was in a store without wearing a mask, which is prohibited by the sanitary measures against the Covid-19. He was therefore arrested by the police.
But during their check-up, they realized that they were facing a murderer convicted twenty years earlier … who has still not served his sentence.
The 45-year-old man was taken to a remand center. He must remain 25 years behind bars. No details of the murder in question have been disclosed by the Polish authorities.
