One Piece Odyssey has not said its last word and will soon be back

Last year, Bandai Namco was released on PlayStation consoles (PS5 and PS4), Xbox Series One Piece Odyssey, JRPG turn-based developed by ILCA on which we had a good time, but which was far from impeccable and some of whose faults could clearly be cold. He then received a DLC baptized Reunion of Memories before slowly allowing itself to be forgotten. At least, until this Monday andannouncement from the publisher of a Switch version.

One Piece Odyssey will therefore land on Switch on Friday July 26, 2024 directly in edition Deluxe and will therefore immediately include all the content already available elsewhere, namely the base game and its expansion Reunion of Memoriesbut also costumes (travel outfits, Sogeking). In addition to that, owners of the console Nintendo will be entitled to a set of accoutrements City of Water inspired by the clothes worn Water Seven. It remains to be seen whether they will be offered in any way on other platforms, although it would not be a great loss if they do.

If you need to refresh your memory about its plot, here is what the publisher says:

In One Piece Odyssey, players take control of crew members in turn-based exploration or combat phases. After a terrible storm, the crew is stranded on the strange island of Waford while the Thousand Sunny is almost reduced to a wreck. While exploring the island and its ancient ruins, they meet Adio and Lim, two residents of Waford. Deprived of their powers by the mysterious Lim, Luffy’s companions will embark on new adventures, cross paths with new monsters and characters designed by Eiichiro Oda and experience a new story where memories of their previous adventures intertwine.

If you prefer pure action, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 recently received his Dawn of Legends Pack. One Piece Odyssey is currently sold €29.99 at Fnac and even to €24.99 at Micromania.
