We are on July 22 and it is therefore the One Piece Day celebrating 26 years of Eiichirō Oda’s work this year. A live with news of the various derivative products around the license was therefore broadcast, with several very attractive announcements. The first concerns One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4which had not really been talked about since the end of the additions in DLCs of his Character Pass in 2020. Rather than releasing a new game straight away, while the anime is still in its infancy Wano Kuni with next month the long-awaited episode of Gear5, bandai namco will therefore release a Character Pass 2 !
The trailer reminds us that One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 precisely proposed an adventure to Wano Kunialthough obviously different from the manga since it wasn’t until 2022 that the arc finally came to an end. This Character Pass 2 will once again be available in three packs featuring just as many playable characters for a total of 9 additional fighters.
THE DLC 4 “The Battle of Onigashima Pack” will be released in September with a variation of Luffy based on the battle ofOnigashimawho will be able to transform into Gear5, but only for casting special moves. Shadows tease also what awaits us next with A DLC 5 based on One Piece Film RED who will add Uta and one DLC 6 whose black and red flashes of Haki of kings set the tone. Based on the shape of the sword and the hat in the illustration below, everything leads us to believe that we will be able to embody Gol D.Roger as he appears in the flashback of Wano.
Moreover, a skin of Trafalgar Law in his outfitOnigashima will be offered for the purchase of this Character Pass 2, the sale of which will begin on July 24. Too bad he doesn’t have the right to his new techniques with, by the way…
Well, on the other hand, even if its additions have something to please, without new game areas in which to use these characters, it could be quite boring. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is still on sale on Amazon from €17.99.
