After 25 Galaxy smartphones and tablets, One UI 6 (Android 14) arrives on two new mid-range phones from Samsung: the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A52s. As a reminder, the deployment is being done gradually, sometimes favoring certain regions or certain countries. Good news, the update is already available in Europe on these two models.
Make way for One UI 6 (Android 14) on two new Galaxy smartphones
In a first report published this Tuesday, December 5, SamMobile announced the availability of One UI 6 (Android 14) in Europe for the Galaxy A33. Taking the version number A336BXXU7DWK6, this version is no less than 2.3 GB.
A few minutes later, the media also declared that the Galaxy A52s was also starting to benefit from One UI 6 in Europe, with availability in the following countries: Bulgaria, Germany and the Netherlands. His arrival in France should therefore not take long. The update, which has build number A528BXXU5FWK4, weighs 2.29 GB.
This update for the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A52s also includes the November 2023 security patch. The latter corrects 65 vulnerabilities, including 48 inherent to Android and 17 to Samsung Galaxy devices.
With the arrival of Android 14 on these two models, launched in 2022 and 2021 respectively, Samsung is once again ensuring very serious software monitoring for the entry and mid-range. As a reminder, 50 models will benefit from One UI 6 by February 2024.
Samsung is also starting to work to deploy the security patch for December 2023. Via a dedicated page, the brand is already announcing that it will correct 74 security flaws, including 54 linked to Android, four to Samsung’s Exynos chips and 16 to Galaxy devices.
