OnePlus has unveiled its new entry-level wireless headphones, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. Offered at 69 euros, they have an active noise reduction function.
While OnePlus presented its new mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, on Tuesday, the Chinese manufacturer did not stop there. On the occasion of the launch of its new phone, OnePlus also presented a new pair of entry-level headphones, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2.
As their name suggests, these are the successors of the first OnePlus Nord Buds, from which they largely borrow the design, with small touch surfaces on the outside with a circle in the middle. These are in-ear headphones with active noise reduction that complete the manufacturer’s range alongside the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, OnePlus Buds Z2 or OnePlus Buds.
Headphones that focus on the bass
In detail, the manufacturer has integrated 12.4 mm transducers in each of its headphones, to ensure a good bass response. A layer of titanium, more resistant, will ensure a good response in the treble for more details. The headphones are also announced as compatible with Dolby Atmos for music and an equalizer will allow you to modify their sound signature thanks to different presets. As for Bluetooth audio codecs, however, you will have to be content with the two most common on the market, namely SBC and AAC.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 are also equipped with active noise reduction capable, according to the manufacturer, of reducing the volume of external sounds by 25 dB thanks to a double processor. The transparent mode is also part of it.
For autonomy, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 can work, according to the firm, for five hours without their case with noise reduction and up to 27 hours taking advantage of the battery of the case (7 and 36 hours without noise reduction) . The headphones are also IP55 certified, and therefore resistant not only to dust, but also to splashes, sweat or rain.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 are already available. They are offered in France in two colors, black or white, at a price of 69 euros.
