Orange is increasing the price of all its Livebox Fiber and ADSL offers for the second time in the space of two months.

And here we go again. Two months after a price increase for its mobile and internet plans, Orange is doing it again and applying a new price increase, this time targeting only Livebox subscriptions. Here’s what to expect from now on.

Second increase in two months

As spotted by Freebox Universe, all Orange internet offers are now offered for an additional euro, whether it is the price of the special offer for the first 12 months or the price in force for the following years. Fiber and ADSL subscriptions are equally affected.

So the formulas:

  • Livebox Fiber at 500 Mbps and Livebox ADSL now cost 24.99 euros for the first 12 months, then 42.99 euros monthly.
  • Livebox Up Fiber at 2 Gbps and Livebox Up ADSL are available for 32.99 euros for one year and 50.99 euros thereafter.
  • The most premium plans, Livebox Max Fiber with better uplink speed, Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 6 repeaters provided and Livebox Max ADSL, are displayed at 37.99 euros the first year then 55.99 euros.

The commitment period does not change: it remains at 12 months for each subscription. Customers also get Paramount+ included for six months.

3 euros increase for certain packages since the beginning of 2023

Taking into account the price increase in February, all Orange Livebox subscriptions have taken between 2 and 3 euros increase since the beginning of the year, while the ISP is already not the most affordable on the market.

The operators had announced the color at the end of last year: Orange, SFR and Bouygues Telecom announced that they were going to review their pricing upwards, only Free communicating on maintaining its prices during the year 2023, and the following.

To justify the surge in prices, Orange had mentioned “a significant increase in operating costs, in particular the energy that powers mobile networks and the internet”.
