Orpea: increase in annual turnover of 5.1% – 02/08/2022 at 6:26 p.m.


(CercleFinance.com) – Orpea publishes this evening a turnover of 1105 ME for the 4th quarter of 2021, an organic increase of 4.5% compared to the 4th quarter of 2020.

Over the whole of the 2021 financial year, sales amounted to 4,285 ME, representing organic growth of 5.1% compared to the previous financial year.

Following recent allegations made against the group, Philippe Charrier, CEO. of the group, indicated that they take full measure of the ‘concern, incomprehension and doubt experienced by residents, patients and their families.’

He said his job is to make sure best practices are applied and monitored across the company.

Orpea has also commissioned two independent firms, Alvarez & Marsalet Grant Thornton, for independent external evaluation assignments.

‘The company will continue to ensure that all shareholders are fully informed of the next actions undertaken, in complete transparency and in compliance with stock market regulations. Vis-à-vis shareholders and investors, the company will favor, for the coming period, public communication over any other form of communication.
