Ottfried Fischer: Special program planned for his 70th birthday

Ottfried Fischer celebrates his special birthday on November 7th. To celebrate his 70th year, Bayerischer Rundfunk has now announced a special program that shows the actor in his most iconic and well-known roles.

Lots of program from November 4th to 6th

It starts on November 4th at 8:15 p.m. with “Pastor Braun: The Seventh Temple”. In the humorous crime series, Fischer played the title role of Pastor Guido Braun from 2003 to 2013. Two episodes of “Somehow and Anyway” (“Ringo” and “The Long Night”) will then run from 10 p.m. In the 1986 series, Fischer played the main role of the music-crazy young farmer Alfons Kerschbaumer, alias Sir Quickly.

“Ottis Schlachthof – The Farewell Show” will be shown from 11:30 p.m. In 2012, Monika Gruber (52), Günter Grünwald (66), Helmut Schleich (56), Christian Springer (58), Urban Priol (62), Willy Astor (62) and the band Die Heimatlosen gathered at Otti’s regular table.

On November 6th, fans can tune in to the portrait “Lines of Life: Ottfried Fischer and Mr. Parkinson” from 10 p.m., in which the actor and cabaret artist humorously talks about his Parkinson’s disease.

Bavarian Cabaret Prize is awarded

The 2023 Bavarian Cabaret Award ceremony will be broadcast again on November 9th from 9 p.m. and will be recorded on November 6th in the Munich Lustspielhaus. Director Franz Xaver Bogner (74) will honor Fischer at the event and remember the most important stages of the famous Bavaria.

How is Ottfried Fischer?

Despite his progressive Parkinson’s disease and his wheelchair, Ottfried Fischer does not allow himself to be stopped from attending public events. Most recently, the actor appeared in a good mood and in the presence of his wife Simone at the Dieter Hildebrandt Prize ceremony in July and at the Munich Film Festival in June.
