Over and over! The Zeller Eisbären were quietly eliminated 0-4 against the Wipptal Broncos in the quarterfinals of the Alps Hockey League. The 2-3 home win in front of almost 1,900 spectators ended the Pinzgauer season on Tuesday evening. The basic passage was excellent from the polar bears’ point of view. After 30 games they were in second place with 61 points. The decline began in the Master Round – only two games could be won. Juniors almost through. Meanwhile, the Red Bull Juniors took a big step towards the semi-finals. After a 3-2 win, they now lead 3-1 in the series against the Unterland Cavaliers. Ritten still has to be patient, lost 2:5 away at Bregenzerwald and, like the juniors, still needs a win.
