Overwatch 2 Brings PvE With Invasion Update

In May, we learned that the PvE mode planned for Overwatch 2 was cancelled. However, this only concerns the hero mode, and cooperative missions are well expected. The first will start from August 10, with the update Invasion ofOverwatch 2. The opportunity to relax by discovering new parts of history, but also to appreciate a new way of fighting.

However, the PvE mode is not the only novelty of this big update. As the “Rise of the Null Sector” story missions will be introduced to the game, cooperative events will take place. This is all to help Tracer in the search for his friend, and fend off the Null Sector forces.

In addition, the Flashpoint competitive game mode makes an appearance. The objective is to take control of key positions and capture 3 of them before the opposing team. Everything takes place on new, larger maps that will put players in tricky situations. On top of that, a “Hero Mastery” mode (which has nothing to do with Hero PvE mode) will allow you to practice on the different characters.

A new start

In addition to all this, there are also new advantages for Game Pass Ultimate owners. New players will be able to take advantage of a starter pack including the 6 heroes released during the previous seasons. What to start without risk in the competition when the update is launched Invasion ofOverwatch 2. All will also benefit from a legendary cosmetic, to storm the opposing team in style.
