(Reuters) – OVHcloud reported an increase in first-quarter revenue on Thursday, driven by a solid performance in Europe, with the European cloud computing services provider maintaining its targets for 2024 and 2025.

Turnover in the first quarter increased by 12% on a like-for-like basis to reach 239.8 million euros, slightly below the expectations of analysts surveyed by the group, who on average expected growth of 12.5% .

“In an uncertain economic environment, where our customers continue to optimize their spending, our performance-price ratio is particularly attractive,” said Michel Paulin, CEO of OVHcloud, in a press release.

In the French market, which represents almost half of OVHcloud’s turnover, sales increased by 9.3%, while Europe excluding France showed growth of 16.3%.
