Pad 6 series: Xiaomi is preparing the tablets that will succeed the Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro

Xiaomi has relaunched in touch tablets between 2021 and 2022 after years of discretion in this market. Two models were presented, but only the classic version was released in France. It was followed by a model with the Redmi logo at the end of 2022. A real desire for the Chinese manufacturer to reestablish itself hard in the segment.

The Pad 6 and 6 Pro are talking about them

On the Chinese social network Weibo, Digital Chat Station offers us the first indiscretions relating to the next Xiaomi tablets. The information is admittedly meager at the moment, but it is nonetheless important. Thus, we learn that the two models should carry an 11-inch LCD panel with a definition of 2880 x 1800 pixels. The refresh rate should vary between 120 and 144 Hz, without it being known whether the highest rate will only be reserved for the Pro version of the device. The tablets will support the HDR10+ standard as well as Dolby Vision.

Inside, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected to include the Snapdragon 870, while its Pro variant would get the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The best-endowed version would come with 12GB of RAM paired with 512GB of internal storage. It is not known, for the time being, if the tablets are called upon to integrate a port for microSD cards, but the fact that the previous models were deprived of it is a good indication.
