Pamela Anderson: She married her ex-boyfriend Jon Peters

Nobody expected this: The former "Baywatch" mermaid Pamela Anderson (52) is under the hood for the fifth time. She said "yes" to US film producer Jon Peters (74) in Malibu on Monday. "They are very much in love and got married yesterday," Anderson's spokesman Matthew Berritt confirmed to People magazine. The Hollywood Reporter had previously reported on the surprising wedding. The new couple share a common past.

"She makes me wild"

"There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could choose freely, but for 35 years I've only wanted Pamela," Jon Peters told the Hollywood Reporter about his bride. "She drives me wild – in a good way. She inspires me. I protect her and treat her the way she deserves it."

Anderson commented on her wedding in the form of a poem available to "The Hollywood Reporter". Among other things, it says that they love Jon "deeply". "His life scared me," but now she is ready. "We understand and respect each other. We love each other without conditions. I'm a happy woman," said the 52-year-old.

Anderson and Peters have known each other for over 30 years. In the mid-1980s, they met in the infamous Playboy Mansion and became a couple. They are said to have been together for a few months now, but have kept their relationship secret.

It is the fifth marriage for both. Anderson was married to rocker Tommy Lee (57), with whom she has two grown sons. Peters, in turn, was once in a relationship with Barbra Streisand (77). He has produced films such as "A Star Is Born" (2018) and "Man of Steel" (2013).
