Pandemic waste art – exhibition “Pandemic Waste” until January 28th

In Austria, 874,000 pizza boxes end up in the trash every year. The exhibition “Pandemic Waste” in the Architekturhaus Salzburg is currently dealing with these and other facts on the subject of waste, vacancies and increased consumption in times of the pandemic.

Under the direction of architect Theo Deutinger, students from the University of Kassel have taken on the topic in order to present the information about it spatially and graphically as an exhibition the effects of the pandemic will be illustrated. On January 27th, the philosopher Robert Pfaller, Jürgen Wulff-Gegenbaur from the Salzburg City Waste Management Service, and the architect Christian Blaser will also give an online keynote speech. The exhibition will be on until January 28th in the Architekturhaus Salzburg to be seen yet. An extension is an option.
