Paralympic Games 2022: French skier Arthur Bauchet wins his 3rd gold medal

It shines on Chinese tracks. French skier Arthur Bauchet, 21, won his third gold medal at the Beijing Paralympics on Sunday March 13, in the slalom – standing category – confirming the hopes placed in him for several years.

On the slopes of Yanqing, in the suburbs of Beijing, the athlete licensed at the Briançon ski club beat the Chinese Liang Jingyi and the New Zealander Adam Hall.

This is Arthur Bauchet’s fourth medal at these Games. The athlete had already won two titles (downhill and super combined) as well as silver in the giant slalom.

Adding the silver obtained by the French on Sunday in the cross-country ski relay, France ends these Paralympics with 12 medals, including 7 gold, and a fourth place overall behind China, Ukraine and Canada.
