Each package, each letter tells a little about the life of its recipient. A woman who has ordered clothes online for her baby who has fallen ill because of the cold and power cuts, a teenager who has equipment delivered to sell framed portraits and make ends meet, or even the caretaker an ostrich park which receives the registered letter from its lawyer on the assessment of the damage suffered during the war. Ukrposhta does not just deliver mail. It is also a lifeline for millions of retirees to whom it gives cash pensions, and who often find themselves alone, far from their loved ones mobilized on the front or gone to live in Europe.
