A backpack containing weapons was discovered this Friday, March 11 in the Bois de Vincennes, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. The author of the discovery is a municipal employee of the city.
According to our colleagues from Actu17, the employee discovered the bag in a thicket of wood. The latter contained many rusty weapons. The man then immediately notified the police.
The bag indeed contained a submachine gun, as well as five handguns and a dozen ammunition.
All the weapons will soon be examined at the laboratory of the police headquarters, in order to identify all traces and clues to their origins.
Similarly, a ballistic expertise will be conducted to determine if these weapons have been used in a criminal case.
An investigation was opened and entrusted to the second judicial police district of the Paris police headquarters.
