Paris Hilton: She let men treat her so badly

Paris Hilton says in an interview that she didn't know what love was for a long time and had to go through abusive relationships.

A week after the shocking revelations about her childhood in boarding school and two weeks before the full documentary about her life appears, Paris Hilton (39) shared the next horrific revelation with People magazine: According to it, she should have gone through several relationships in which it was abused. "I've been choked, I've been hit, I've been treated aggressively. I've come to terms with things that no one should accept," says Hilton.

A good week ago, Hilton had first discussed her bad time at boarding school. Accordingly, she was also physically and emotionally abused as a teenager in school. The hotel heiress sees a direct connection between her traumatic school days and her violent relationships: "I was so used to abusive behavior that I thought it was normal."

Paris went on to explain that she hadn't known what love was for a long time: "I didn't really understand what love or relationships were. I thought that she (the men, editor's note) would become so crazy mean they were in love with me. Looking back, I can't believe I let myself be treated like that. " The documentary "This Is Paris" is due to be released on September 14th on its YouTube channel.
