It was a nuisance to many.

After eight months and around 60 complaints, Mayor Pascal Bassu canceled the test. “It was a nuisance for many,” says the SP politician. The e-scooters were lying around and parked incorrectly. “People with wheelchairs didn’t come by anymore.”

E-scooter ban no, but action is necessary

The e-scooter ban in Wetzikon is an overreaction, says ZHAW mobility researcher Thomas Sauter-Servaes.
