Love is in the meadow, broadcast for eighteen seasons on M6, always sees great stories flourish. During the current edition, we were able to discover the farmer Patrice and his suitor Justine, who experienced the beautiful start of their love story in front of the cameras. “I felt tenderness, things I had never felt before”, he testified after his first kiss. Their story progressing very quickly, Justine came to settle her boxes in Normandy with Patrice to live with him a few weeks later. Enough to reveal his true character, which can sometimes be very directive. Little by little, doubts set in for Patrice… “She needs to be a little softer.”, he admitted. In the new episode of Monday November 6, 2023, he shared his fears. “I have the impression that Justine wants to rule the whole house, that she wants to rule my life. Today, I feel like things aren’t going well between us anymore, I’m lost.”he declared sadly in front of the cameras, out of sight, adding that he was aware of becoming “distant and less tactile with her”.
Patrice soon “forced to end the relationship”?
In this new episode of Love is in the meadow, Patrice and his new partner went to Biarritz on vacation. What’s better than a boat trip in the Basque Country to pick up the pieces? If the farmer was not able to address the subjects that tormented him on this occasion, he still moved forward in his thoughts: “The boat ride allowed me to think, I let her intrude too much into my house, I would like to take back control. I would like to explain to her what I want, otherwise I will have to end my relationship.”, he explained in the M6 dating show. Thus, Karine Le Marchand hopes that the farmer suffering from hemiplegia will be able to have this crucial conversation with his partner, so that he does not fall back into the solitude which has already made him suffer for a large part of his life…
