Despite a full vaccination, Patricia Kelly (51) was infected with the corona virus. On October 19, the singer posted a photo from the hospital on Instagram and stated that she is apparently on the mend.
Three days in hell
The 51-year-old had “gone through hell for three days”. However, prayers and the support of family and friends “carried them through these difficult moments”. Kelly is still in the hospital. “I feel a little better, but still suffer from a strong cough and the associated severe pain,” she explains.
The doctors had told her that she had to “take it easy in the coming weeks”. “As difficult as it is for me, I will have to follow the medical advice and it breaks my heart to let the wonderful tour rest for the moment and to have to put the planned appointments on hold for the time being.” Kelly does not currently know when she will be able to be on stage again.
Optimistic outlook
With luck, according to her, it could possibly be that time again in mid-November. But health is “above everything and I will not risk anything”, if only because she wants to be there for her family. “The doctors are optimistic that I will make a full recovery and I will do everything I can for that,” writes Kelly.
The 51-year-old, who had already been infected in 2020, was “personally infinitely grateful that I got vaccinated.
