Sew a coat – this is how it works:

1. CUTTING: Place the fabric in half, right sides together. Pay attention to the line of fabric when laying the cut (see layout plan)! Cut all pattern pieces with a 1 cm seam allowance all around, but without seam allowance for the neckline edges, sleeve lengths, coat length and the front edges. Mark the pocket marks with tailor's chalk as indicated in the section. To frame the edges of the coated viscose fabric, cut 4 cm wide strips of the appropriate length.

2. SEWING: Surround all seam allowances and cut edges with the strips of the coated viscose fabric. Place the strips right sides together on the cut edges or seam allowances, stitch 0.8 cm away from the edge, place the strips around the cut edges or seam allowances and stitch through from the right in the shadow of the seam, gripping the folded strip. Cut the strips back to just under the stitching seam.

BACK PART: On the back halves, border the seam allowances in the center back as described. Place the back halves right sides together and stitch the back seam. Iron the seam allowances apart with a cloth.

FRONT HALVES WITH POCKET PARTS: Sew one part of the bag onto the halves of the front part according to the characters (right to right). Cut in seam allowances at the seam ends, border seam allowances together as described. Place the second part of the bag on top of the stitched part (right on right), close the pocket seam and border the seam allowances together as described. Stitch pocket openings at the ends.

FRONT HALVES AND BACK PIECES: Close shoulder and sleeve seams. Edge seam allowances together as described. Close sleeve and side seams, bind seam allowances together as described.

SLEEVE LENGTH: Close edging strips right sides together to form a circle. Trim sleeve lengths as described.

NECKLINE: Surround the cut edge as described.

SHEATH LENGTH: Surround the cut edge as described.

FRONT HALVES: Border the front cut edges as described.

PUSH BUTTONS sew on according to the characters.
