Pepsico, end clap in Carrefour stores in France – 01/04/2024 at 2:50 p.m.

(AOF) – To protest against price increases deemed abusive, the French distributor Carrefour has announced that it will no longer sell the American group’s products in its stores in France from this Thursday. Products from the Pepsi, Lipton, 7 Up, Lay’s, Doritos, Bénénuts and Quaker brands will therefore no longer be sold on the Carrefour group’s shelves. Journalist specializing in mass distribution, Olivier Dauvers confirmed this information on his website.

Consumers were informed of this decision via posters placed in Carrefour stores with this message: “We no longer sell this brand due to an unacceptable price increase. Please apologize for the inconvenience caused.”
