Perpetrators on the run – stabbed a 64-year-old at Linz Central Station

In broad daylight, a previously unknown person stabbed a 64-year-old at Linz Central Station. The victim was able to drag himself to the police and was taken to the hospital.

An unknown person attacked a 64-year-old from Linz at around 12:20 p.m. on Saturday at the Linz main station. The man had been approached by the stranger in the area of ​​the former ABC buffet. He had asked him for a cigarette. After the 64-year-old indicated that he didn’t have a cigarette, he walked on. The search was unsuccessful. The unknown, who was accompanied by another man, then overtook him and suddenly stabbed him in the chest with an unknown stabbing weapon. The victim was able to drag himself to the central station police station, from where he was admitted to the Kepler University Hospital after receiving first aid from an emergency doctor. An immediate search for the two men has so far been unsuccessful. The two men were described by the 64-year-old as follows: black hair, dark clothes, early 20s. Both wore an FFP2 mask and the perpetrator spoke with a foreign accent
