We clearly wouldn’t like to be in the place ofAtlus tonight, because his two big announcements which were scheduled to be unveiled during the Xbox Games Showcase of this sunday just leaked. If you follow licensing news very closely, you probably know that domain names have been reserved in recent months, with on the one hand P3Re.jp as we reported to you in April and more recently P5T.jp. In recent days, they have both been updated, a classic case where an editor takes care of configuring them before making access public. A leaker close to the license also hinted from this Thursday that the announcement of the remake of Persona 3 was near and that he would be called Persona 3 Reload. And guess what? He was absolutely right.
The leak that occurred is comical to say the least, because it’s literally the western Instagram account ofAtlus who uploaded the two trailers before quickly removing them. To be wrong by three days, you had to do it… Except that the Internet never forgets anything and the secret is now totally out. We will therefore be entitled on the one hand to Persona 5 Tactica, which will be released on November 17, 2023 and will be a tactical role-playing game where we will move our characters on a squared terrain, with multiplayer special attacks visibly taking into account the position of each unit. The video shows us the band of Phantom Thieves of HeartsOr Phantom Thieves of Hearts in French, some of whose members will be under the influence of an enemy. This P5T is planned for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC, with a release in the Game Pass day one. Obviously, it should therefore also be announced on PS5, PS4 and Switch during the formalization.
On the other side, it is Persona 3 Reload which is revealed in the same way. It is expected in early 2024 on the same platforms and will be visually at the level of what was proposed Persona 5 Royalevidenced by the various phases of gameplay enhancing the trailer.
We now only have to wait until Sunday evening to hope to obtain some additional details, but the biggest is already there. If you have time ahead of you and still haven’t done it, Persona 5 Royal is sold €46.19 on Amazon in its PS5 edition.
