Phantom Abyss: the Indiana Jones-style multiplayer adventure game goes to 1.0 with a bunch of new features

Even if Indiana Jones will be entitled to its own video game this year, it is already possible to explore ancient places and flutter with a whip in Phantom Abyss, a multiplayer adventure game gameplay asymmetric already available in Early Access on PC and Xbox Series X|S.

Today, the developer Team WIBY and the editor Devolver Digital announce that Phantom Abyss is in version 1.0 on all platforms, obviously with new featuresnow with three game modes with different temples:

  • Adventure Mode – Embark on a carefully crafted journey through hand-built temples, each offering a unique whip and relic, as well as their own set of challenges.

  • Abyss Mode – This procedurally generated, ever-changing temple provides the ultimate challenge. Only one adventurer can get their hands on its hidden treasure.
  • Daily Fashion – Improve your skills with spicy variations of different familiar trials, which renew every day to quench your thirst for adventure.

In addition to this, players can unlock new whips, explore the new area of The Crevasse and even get permanent improvements. As a reminder, the title plunges us into temples full of traps, you have to reach the end to obtain a unique treasure, but with only one try. For this, the ghosts of previous players are displayed, in order to avoid stupid deaths.
