Laurie Delhostal is a happy woman and above all in love. This Sunday, March 10, the journalist took to her Instagram account to celebrate a very important date. Eleven years ago, to the day, the sports presenter met her beloved Pierre Rabadan. From then on, the one who overcame breast cancer wanted to celebrate this anniversary with an ephemeral publication. In this photo, the lovebirds display their beautiful complicity. While her companion and father of her daughter Anna-Rose seems to be concentrating on taking this selfie, Laurie Delhostal approaches him to give him a tender kiss. “And eleven”she simply wrote in the caption, before identifying the ex-rugby player for the time of this story.
A lovely declaration which shows that their love defies time but also the trials of life. In her fight against illness, Laurie Delhostal was able to count on the unfailing support of Pierre Rabadan. Present in the smallest moments of this painful daily life, the sports advisor at Paris City Hall was obviously at his side after a second surgical procedure. “Pierre Rabadan came to pick me up with our daughter and a tuna sandwich. I finally had a weekend off”she indicated on Instagram, March 26, 2023. An unconditional love which gave strength to Laurie Delhostal during this ordeal.

Laurie Delhostal “happy to be a year older”
If for some, the passage of time is a burden, it is quite different for Laurie Delhostal. On February 24, the sports columnist for the L’Équipe channel celebrated her 44th birthday. A birthday that she considers a beautiful gift of life after having led a long battle against breast cancer, diagnosed in 2022. “The only ‘advantage’ of cancer when you survive and can pretty much tolerate the medications you take every day for 5 years, is that you are happy to get old”she said in the caption of her birthday Instagram post.
A nice message, accompanied by a selfie taken a year ago, after four months of chemo, as she specified. And to add, delighted to see the difference between last year and this year: “I’m really, really happy to be a year older!” Following this post, several personalities wanted to wish him a happy birthday, and showed him all their affection.
