PHOTOS – Indira Ampiot (Miss France 2023): a look back in pictures on her year of reign

“This title is a certain revenge. I wanted to prove that even at 18, you can accomplish great things and believe in your dreams.”, declared Indira Ampiot with a certain emotion, a few minutes after her coronation. On Saturday December 17, 2022, the sparkling Guadeloupean succeeded Diane Leyre and won the crown of Miss France 2023, during a prestigious ceremony organized in Déols. With her long brown hair, her radiant smile and her eloquence, Miss Guadeloupe beat Agathe Cauet (Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais), her first runner-up. Once the scarf is put on, Indira Ampiot knew very well which direction to give to her year of reign. “I would really like to rediscover my Guadeloupe and all the regions of France a little. I would also like to highlight my cause which is tohelping women with cancer regain self-confidence. It’s a tribute to my late grandmother who had to deal with five cancers.”she confided to Gala.fr.

A commitment that she honored throughout her coronation. Whether at the Marie Curie Institute or during the annual gala of the Les Bonnes Fées association, Cindy Fabre’s protégé wanted to ensure this commitment, which is particularly close to her heart. In addition to her associative missions, Indira Ampiot has lived crazy experiences during the last twelve months. From the Etam Live Show parade, to his participation in Fort Boyard, including his climb up the steps of the Cannes Film Festival, she brilliantly fulfilled her role as beauty ambassador. Anxious to ensure her duties as Miss France until the end of her reign, she wanted to accompany the thirty regional Misses during their preparation trip to Guyana. This year will forever be engraved in the memory of Indira Ampiot.
