The first day of the community on Pikmin Bloom is coming soon, and Niantic promises us some nice surprises about it. The latest mobile game from the company behind Pokemon Go made a quiet start, but it looks like he hasn’t revealed all of his surprises yet. Pikmin Bloom may not be as advanced and worked as his colleague (in terms of gameplay or the usefulness of augmented reality) but he remains very popular with his fans. And to reward them, the developers are hosting Saturday, January 22 as the first community day!
Rewards? Which ones?
Lots of rewards will be up for grabs during this event. Note that you will not need to log in at a specific time, and that you can enjoy all the features and rewards available throughout the day at your own pace.
In the app, if you plant blue, red, yellow, or white petals around the megaflowers, they will bloom into camellias. Moreover, if you decide to go for the famous 10,000 steps during this day, you will recover the badge in the shape of a camellia. The speed of growth in your grow bag can reach 50%, enough to make your plantations evolve. Finally, you will be able to collect 1 bonus coin for every 250 flowers planted (every 500 normally), but limited to 60 coins per day.
So if there is a day when you have to go out for some fresh air and stock up on flowers and pikmine, it’s next Saturday January 22 on the first day of the 2022 community. Despite the fact that Pikmin Bloom makes much less noise than other mobile games, Niantic revealed that since the launch of the app, 113 million Pikmin were born, 338 billion steps were taken (an exorbitant figure) and 63.8 million flowers were planted.
All of these numbers are a bit head-spinning, but it shows just how popular Pikmin Bloom has been able to acquire since its release on October 26, on iOS and Android.
