Pink's (40) husband Carey Hart (45) has had a shoulder operation. The US singer ("Just Give Me a Reason") posted a snapshot from the hospital on Wednesday (August 26) showing the motocross rider shortly after the procedure. In the caption, she makes him a declaration of love – and draws a comparison with a comic superhero.
Declaration of love to your "bionic man"
"My husband-baby. I love him so much," you can read about the photo of Hart in a hospital bed wearing a mask. According to his wife, the operation was "successful". Now "the healing" must begin. Pink added several hashtags to her lines, including "#bionicman". Apparently a reference to the comic "Bionicman: The superhero with handicap" by the author Michel Fornasier. In it, a superhero travels through time with a bionic hand prosthesis, stops thieves and helps people in particularly difficult life situations.
Pink is Carey Hart's "rock"
Carey Hart himself also posted the picture on his Instagram profile. In the accompanying lines he thanks his "great wife and nurse" and describes Pink as his "rock" when he is "battered". "Time to take the road to recovery" is also to be read.
Pink's husband, with whom she is raising two children, Willow, 9, and Jameson, 3, had an operation on what is known as the rotator cuff, a group of four muscles that encompass the shoulder joint. The reason for the intervention is not yet known. The couple has been married since 2006.
