GOOGLE PIXEL 8 (PRO)

The Pixel 8 Pro will of course be extensively tested before launch. One of these test devices appeared on Reddit and gives us information about part of the specs.

A now-deleted profile on Reddit gave us these hands-on pics of the Pixel 8 Pro. (Source: droidlife)

  • On Reddit, a user uploaded images of a Pixel 8 Pro test device.
  • The code name “Husky” used refers to the Pixel 8 Pro, the name “Zuma” stands for the Tensor G3 chip.
  • The device also shows the built-in memory. It has 12 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal storage.

A Reddit user uploaded images of a Pixel 8 Pro. This is probably a prototype or a test device. However, he has since deleted both the post and his account on the social media platform. Understandable, since Google is probably not too good at talking about such leaks.

However, Droidlife noticed the leak before the user initiated the deletion of his account. This not only allows us to see that the manufacturer is actually staying true to the design of the range, but also gives us information about the memory used.

On the back is the codename “Zuma” which refers to the new Tensor G3. In addition, the cell phone is in a fast boot mode, where we can also read things on the screen. Including the code name “Husky”, which was already a possible name for the Pixel 8 Pro. The device has 12 gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal UFS storage.
