So, what are we playing in 2022 on the PS Plus? The January titles are formalized.

What is PlayStation Plus?

PlayStation Plus is Sony’s premium subscription, the equivalent of Xbox Live Gold at Microsoft and Nintendo Switch Online. Introduced on PlayStation 3, it has become mandatory for playing online on PS4 and, of course, PS5.

The price of the PS Plus subscription

But its price, revised upwards in 2017 could be a brake, if it were only a second Internet service provider. To justify this sum, Sony has added bonuses to the subscription, which makes it downright profitable: cloud storage space (100 GB), exclusive discounts on the PlayStation Store and, more interestingly, free games. every month. The one-year subscription to is 59.99 euros, for three months it is 24.99 euros, and one month costs 8.99 euros.

As of November 2020, Sony has added the PS5 to the PlayStation Plus. Next-gen console owners benefit from a collection of must-have (and improved) PS4 titles. Starting with release, there will be one PS5 game per month.

What’s in the PlayStation Plus subscription?

Each beginning of the month, PlayStation Plus members can therefore download at least two PlayStation 4 games at no additional cost. The selection is uneven from month to month and, of course, only accessible during the period concerned. Once you’ve downloaded a game, it’s yours for as long as you’re subscribed.

The games “offered” in November 2021 on the PS Plus

There are six games that are available in November 2021 with the PS Plus subscription.

The games in October 2021

  • Hell Let Loose (PS5): 50 vs. 50 skirmishes, inspired by WWII and very tactical-oriented;
  • PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4): for golf enthusiasts;
  • Mortal Kombat X (PS4): ultra bloody and violent fights. Its main novelty? Each person has several styles.

All three games will be available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers from October 5 through November 1.

September 2021

  • Overcooked: All You Can Eat! (PS5): a terribly addicting cooking game, even more fun for many. Pay attention to your friendships anyway;
  • Predator: Hunting Grounds (PS4): An asymmetrical multiplayer experience that pits soldiers against the famous alien bounty hunter. We have known better;
  • Hitman 2 (PS4): Agent 47 travels the world in an attempt to assassinate targets.

All three games will be available for free from September 7 to October 4.

August 2021

  • Hunter’s Arena: Legends (PS5): a 30-player Battle Royale, with gameplay centered on aerial sequences and decisive counters;
  • Tennis World Tour 2 (PS4): for tennis fans who want to wait until the US Open;
  • Plans vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville (PS4): a multi-player shooter where plants face zombies.

All three games will be available for download by PlayStation Plus subscribers from August 3 to September 6.

July 2021

  • A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5): One of the best games of recent years returns to PS5 with improved graphics and shorter load times. Do not miss it under any circumstances;
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (PS4): multiplayer game modes do you want some here;
  • WWE 2K Battlegrounds (PS4): for those who love wrestling.

These three titles will be available for free from July 6 to August 2.

June 2021

  • Operation: Tango (PS5): An online cooperative game that requires an agent and a hacker to combine their skills to complete missions. Microphone compulsory, we are told;
  • Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown (PS4): a fighting game;
  • Star Wars: Squadrons (PS4): Have you always dreamed of piloting an X-Wing or a TIE Fighter? This game is made for you. You can even play it in virtual reality.

Operation: Tango and Star Wars: Squadrons will be offered until July 5. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to collect Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown until August 2.

May 2021

  • Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Die Last. (PS5): an arcade racing game where you have to destroy everything. It seems that the physics engine is very realistic;
  • Battlefield v (PS4): the famous Electronic Arts saga returns to World War II with many game modes;
  • Stranded Deep (PS4): after a mysterious plane crash, you have to survive on an island to explore from top to bottom.

All three games will be available for free from May 4 to May 31.

April 2021

  • Oddworld: Soulstorm (PS5): new video game, which is the direct sequel toOddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty. We always embody Abe in a mixture of platform and reflection;
  • Days gone (PS4): Disappointing at launch, this open world game has received several updates and is now a successful experience. In short, this is the right time to get started;
  • Zombie Army 4: Dead War (PS4): a nag game where you have to kill zombies in Hitler’s pay.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to pick up all three games from April 6 to May 3.

March 2021

  • Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4): One of the best RPGs of all time has seen a total reinvention in 2020. Please note that the version offered as part of the PlayStation Plus will not be eligible for a free upgrade on PS5. But it remains a nice gift for subscribers;
  • Remnant: From the Ashes (PS4): this third person shooter is inspired by certain Dark Souls mechanics to offer a demanding experience, playable with others;
  • Model (PS5): a strange puzzle game where you will have to “ recursively change the world and manipulate the environment so that these changes are reflected in the full-size version around you “;
  • Farpoint (PlayStation VR): As a bonus this month, Sony is giving away a game for PlayStation VR owners. Farpoint is a first person shooter.

These four games will be offered from March 2 to April 5.

February 2021

  • AllStars Destruction (PS5): A PS5 exclusive focused on arena vehicle battles. ” You’ll need to use skill, tactics and timing to wreak havoc, both behind the wheel and using your parkour skills. », Specifies Sony;
  • Control Ultimate Edition (PS5 & PS4): one of the best action games of recent years. The Ultimate Edition also unites the two expansions;
  • Concrete Genie (PS4): a small candy center centered on a young boy responsible for restoring its former glory to a port city.

These three games will be available for free starting Tuesday, February 2. AllStars Destruction will no longer be offered as of April 6 while Control Ultimate Edition and Concrete Genie will become chargeable again from March 1.

January 2021

  • Maneater (PS5): an RPG where we play… a shark. The goal is to move up the food chain by eating as much as possible. Note that the PS4 version is not included;
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider (PS4): last installment of the trilogy featuring a younger Lara Croft. It is far from the most memorable episode;
  • Greedfall (PS4): another RPG, more classic in its structure.

These three games will be available for free starting Tuesday, January 5. They will become paying again as of February 1.
