PlayStation RUMOR: Document leak reveals several PS5 games in development, including Horizon Online, and a PC port of Forbidden West

This weekend, several projects related to the license Horizon of Guerrilla Games have been the subject of a rumor on the Web, namely a remaster or remake ofHorizon: Zero Dawn which would be released on PS5, a multiplayer game in this universe and a DLCs at Horizon Forbidden Westthe latter being the most probable since it is downright an actor who has it teased before retracting. That was enough to stir up the Web and loosen a few tongues. In effect, Gematsu spoke of a certain document in his possession where these various projects and other, adding that several sources allowed him to ensure that they would exist and thus prove the authenticity of the said listing. Well, in addition to circulating behind the scenes in certain newsrooms, the latter seems to have been broadcast on 4chan and reposted on ResetEra.

Obviously take this with a grain of salt, especially with the gross fault with “supporing”, but this Gantt chart used in project management would therefore reveal to us several games in development on the side of playstation. First, we have the different Horizonwith a PC version of Horizon Forbidden West which would be in progress since the end of last year in addition to its extension, a remaster of Zero Dawn, a Horizon Online qualified as GaaS (serving game) and Horizon Call of the Mountain at the house of Firespirit.

The studio bought last year by EIS would also develop a survival horror under Unreal Engine 5 for PS5 and PC, called “Heartbreak”. follows Sumo Digitalwith “Sackboy” on PC, which is obviously the port of Sackboy: A Big Adventure recently made official, but also an open-world “Carbon” project for PlayStation 5. In addition to monitoring Destruction AllStars, Lucid Games would have a certain “Redstar” in his cupboards, also described as a vehicular combat game. Rumor had it that a reboot of Twisted Metal is in progress at Lucidbut its development would have been entrusted to another studio first party European, obviously quite quickly by matching the diagram and the date when we learned that.

Another game whose presence is not surprising, Returnal on PC, which keeps leaking. Next is “Ronin” from Koei-Tecmowhich is none other than Rise of the Ronina console exclusive from Team Ninja recently unveiled. More interesting without really being a surprise, Kojima Productions would have an open-world game project named “Ocean”, presumably Death Stranding 2 or whatever its final name. SIE London Studio would be at work on another game service called “Camden”while the mysterious game teased by Ballistic Moon would therefore be a survival horror called “Bates” and using the engine decima.

And speaking of horror games, Dusk Golem has declared that this document would be very real, but a little dated, assuming that it would come from the English division of playstation because of the names of people mentioned. To sum up, the still unannounced new features other than computer ports are as follows:

  • Horizon Online – Guerrilla Games (PS5 and PC);
  • Heartbreak – Firespirit (PS5 and PC);
  • Carbon-Sumo Digital (PS5);
  • Redstar-Lucid Games (PS5);
  • Ocean-Kojima Productions (PS5);
  • Bates-Ballistic Moon (PS5 and PC);
  • Camden – SIE London Studio (PS5 and PC).

All that remains is to wait and see if these games end up being announced or not. In short, wait & see. Horizon Forbidden West is otherwise sold €59.00 on Amazon.
