Filming of the new version of More beautiful life has just resumed… This Monday, October 23, the actors returned to the studios to play the very first scenes of the cult Marseille soap opera, which is preparing to make its big comeback on TF1 in early 2024, after 18 years on France 3 .

Alas, it is with a “heavy heart” that the actors of More beautiful life found themselves… Everyone had only one name in mind: that of Marwan Berreni. Thursday October 19, the body of their playing partner, who disappeared on August 3, was formally identified. The actor, who played the role of Abdel Fedala, is said to have hanged himself. Marwa Berreni should, like her comrades, have resumed filming of More beautiful life today and give the answer to his comrades, in particular Léa François alias Barbara, Abdel’s great love.
“Come on, come back!”
“We resume filming tomorrow and I don’t know what Barbara will be like without Abdel, she will have to be strong,” wrote the actress on her Instagram account, totally disoriented since the announcement of Marwan Berreni’s death. Like her, Laurent Kerusoré (Thomas Marci) said he returned to the set with a “heavy heart”. Jérôme Bertin (Patrick Nebout) still can’t believe it. “To you Marwan Berreni. You love this view. A little less than the hour… come on! Come back!”, he wrote the day before the filming, in the caption of a photo of the Old Port of Marseille.
The production of the soap opera also expressed its emotion in a message shared on social networks alluding to the death of Marwan Berreni and that of Michel Cordes, who also committed suicide last May: “A huge thought for those who are no longer with us. The screenwriters of More beautiful life, they had to rewrite the script of the series. “Of course his disappearance has an impact on the writing. He was one of the announced actors, and therefore expected,” a member of the production told the daily newspaper in September, when everyone still thought that Marwan Berreni was on the run. .
As a reminder, the actor had completely disappeared at the beginning of August after a car accident involving his vehicle. A thirty-year-old woman was then mowed down in a pedestrian crossing, leaving a nightclub. His parents hoped for weeks that he would return before “the door of hope closed” when the body was discovered.
